What this site collects, and why.

The short version: this site sets no cookies. If you send us a message, we use it only to reply. Visit statistics are anonymous and stay on our own servers.

Who is responsible

Ginger Media BV, Akkerstraat 29, 9255 Buggenhout, Belgium (enterprise number BE 0774.897.861) is the controller for personal data processed through gingermedia.biz. You can reach us at hello@gingermedia.biz.

The contact form

When you use the form on the contact page, we receive your name, email address, company (if you give one), your message and the address of the page you sent it from. The form is handled by our own form service on Cloudflare and delivered to us by email and as a notification in our team messenger.

• Why: to answer you and, if you ask for it, to take steps towards working together (GDPR article 6(1)(b) and our legitimate interest in replying, article 6(1)(f)).
• How long: only as long as we need to handle your question and any follow-up. We don't add you to mailing lists.
• Spam protection: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical information such as your IP address and browser to tell people from bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Visit statistics

We count visits with Rybbit, an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't follow you across sites. We see aggregated figures such as page views, referring sites, countries and device types. The data is not shared with anyone or used for advertising (legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, article 6(1)(f)).

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

On your device

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Write to hello@gingermedia.biz. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
